Common Name: Autumn Royalty Azalea Encore
Description: "Autumn Royalty" azalea (Rhododendren "Conlec") belongs to the "Encore" series of azaleas, a series that not only blooms in spring like traditional varieties of these shrubs, but again in fall. This particular variety won "Azalea of the Year" from the American Rhododendron Society. Its fall blooming period is more robust than other "Encore" azaleas, lasting from late summer through to a frost. Upright and evergreen, attractive foliage.
